LOW STOCK... get in quick!

Hi everyone - just stopping in with a few news-bits!

First of all, we are running low on stock of our Rhododendron tea-towels in both the Fuchsia and the Aubergine... only a few of each left, so get in quick if you want some! Re-prints won't be for a wee while...

The glorious pink can also be found in the BRIGHTS set, and the purple in the DARKS set - if you want to nab them with a group discount!

We are currently sold out of the Slate and Pumpkin Ginkgo cushions in both square and rectangular - if anyone is interested in buying these, please drop us a line at info@abigailryan.com and we will let you know the ETA on our fabric stocks and then, if you like, we can take a custom order for you...we are also quite low on Teal Ginkgo too, just FYI ;)

Abigail J'adores...

I am completely enamoured of the idea to have a couple of chickens {Ryan is keen on getting a bee house too!} for our garden sometime soon... apparently, depending on the breed, the chickens can be fantastic pets - really warm and good natured, almost cuddle-loving ;)...

The products from Omlet UK are fantastic - chicken coups and houses which are urban, modern, practical, innovative AND attractive... only two decision to make now, and that's which colour to choose and what to name the chickens!? :)

Stuff I like...

Folksy has turned out to be quite the treasure trove of loveliness, and today I found the most gorgeous stained glass shop there- "Through the Round Window".

I spent ages going through everything I could find about the incredibly talented artist, Flora Jamieson, from her shop, blog and website.

Her work is mindblowing in it's crafts(wo)manship(!) and detail- you really must have a peek yourself. I've always wanted some stained glass panels in my house, and finding someone who's work appeals to me so completely makes me feel like i'm that one wee step closer...now I just need to get saving!

Stuff I like...

I saw Lauren's work on Folksy and completely fell for the cupcake pin cushions- not only do they look adorable, but all her work seems to be exceptionally well made, too. My credit card detail entering finger is certainly itching! I can see a whole cake-stand of these beauties as a table centre piece for birthdays, high-days and holidays..any day that needs a bit more pretty.

Why not have a wee look at her shop and website- she has a pretty nice blog for perusing as well ;)

Snow day sale!!

We can't apologise enough for the total silence here at abigail*ryan, but after a hectic Christmas and New Year, Abigail and I decided to take some (well deserved!) time off...

You know how it is, though, a day becomes a few days, a few days a week, until, before you know it, it's nearly a month later and you're STILL relaxing (without actually stopping to draw breath- oh the joys of being self-employed!).

Anyway, we had planned a lovely Snow Day Sale to celebrate (commiserate?!) the very seasonal, yet still remarkably surprising weather we've been having in the UK, knowing that we would be able to start shipping any ordered items from January 12th. However, the snowy, freezey, icy, chilly, insane weather we've been having, coupled with poor Abigail's recent coming down with suspected swine flu (yes, believe it, or not, it doesn't just exist on the news...my mum, dad, sister and now Abigail, have all been afflicted...I fear my days are numbered! ), has changed plans slightly...we simply have no idea when we'll no longer be stranded in Belfast and will be able to get back to the jewellery studio and, once there, when Abigail will be able to get out of her sick bed and back to the the jewellery bench.

We were left with a wee bit of a quandary...so we took the easy way out and thought we'd leave it up to you to decide! Just stopping in before tomorrows festivities to wish everyone an extremely MERRY KISS-MAS and HAPPY HOLLY-DAYS... ;)

I think these wooden birds from Sanna Annuka are so pretty and charming, and I especially love the story behind them...

These limited edition lovelies would make the perfect addition to my bedside table - and I could certainly always do with all the help I can get to soothe my sleep. Seems like the perfect excuse to indulge to me! ;)
