In the garden...

Thinking about all things garden at the moment... and seriously hankering after all of these babies!!

I already bought Mister Bell a Bee Box for his birthday so that bumbles passing on by our garden this Summer can stop and have a little rest, and now, I am thinking of getting one of these lovely Bird Feeders from Roost Living...

First thing's first though - the WEEDS!!!

Exclude those drafts!!

Hi everyone - apologies again for another little hiatus, things are very busy at the moment for abigail*ryan with a forthcoming move in the works, and a huge amount of work going into new product range development for our store!

A small shop update today, perfect for keeping out the chill!

Our new draft excluders are limited editions {only three of each colour are available... one more colourway to come!} and are made from our exclusive 'falling leaves' fabric, which was designed and printed in a short run especially for these lovely door sausages...

Draft excluders are a wonderfully green and eco friendly way of keeping your room nice and toasty during the winter, or chilly spring/autumn nights - and they really help keep a room warm without having to crank up the heating!

Ours are made from our own digitally printed upholstery weight cotton, stuffed with fiber-fill and hand finished at the ends with a gorgeous button.

Lost Things...

This is so special... makes me incredibly happy that people can dream up such beauty.

{Found via Oh Joy :)}

Prep work...

Today I am working on parcelling up a nice big order of abigail*ryan goodies going to a brand new stockist of ours, Roost Living, who pride themselves on selling 'Beautiful British Design'... we are delighted to be working with them!

Make sure to have a good poke around the Roost Living website, there are some stunning goods - I especially love the gold rimmed ceramics by Fliff, and the bird-feeders are fantastically lovely too! I think I will need to get one of those for the garden...

Hope your Monday is off to a good start!

Abigail J'adores...

I am completely enamoured of the idea to have a couple of chickens {Ryan is keen on getting a bee house too!} for our garden sometime soon... apparently, depending on the breed, the chickens can be fantastic pets - really warm and good natured, almost cuddle-loving ;)...

The products from Omlet UK are fantastic - chicken coups and houses which are urban, modern, practical, innovative AND attractive... only two decision to make now, and that's which colour to choose and what to name the chickens!? :)

Stuff I like...

Folksy has turned out to be quite the treasure trove of loveliness, and today I found the most gorgeous stained glass shop there- "Through the Round Window".

I spent ages going through everything I could find about the incredibly talented artist,
Flora Jamieson, from her shop, blog and website.

Her work is mindblowing in it's crafts(wo)manship(!) and detail- you really must have a peek yourself. I've always wanted some stained glass panels in my house, and finding someone who's work appeals to me so completely makes me feel like i'm that one wee step closer...now I just need to get saving!
