Wedding Fever!

Sorry it's been a little quiet around these parts of late! We've been pretty busy, between a fab trip to London and planning the biggest event of our lives! ;)

You might have guessed from our something to celebrate post a wee while back, but we have set a date for our Wedding... And it's not far off at all!

September 28th to be exact. THIS year!! We're so excited.

After getting so wrapped up in choosing venues and big days, and budgets, we took a step back, re-thought the whole thing and have created a really intimate day, full of the closest people in our lives and a much more low key affair all round. It feels very 'us'. It feels just right.

We will be sharing lots of little details over the coming months as we design and create every aspect of our day ourselves and in true abigail*ryan style, so stay tuned... We will also share deets of the awesome people we are working with to make the day extra special.

But, for now, a wee sneak of our save the date invites!

Borough Market...

Fun at the fair...

We had a lovely time on Friday at Selina Lake's book launch and homespun market, and met lots of lovely folk! (who I will link to, but that remains a tad beyond me ATM as I am blogging from the iPhone!) Here are some photos from the day... Will add more soon avec links! :)

Homespun Style!

We are making our final preparations for Selina Lakes Homespun Style book launch and market on Friday! We jet down to London tomorrow so it's some last minute sewing, stuffing of lots of goodies in to two cases and frenzied packing... Here is a little of what we've been up to!

See you Friday, Hanbury Hall in Spitalfields from 2pm - 8pm and remember to being cash so you can snap up goodies from all the lovely stall holders and a Homespun Style signed copy from Selina! We may even do some live blogging if we get a chance!!

Selina Lake Homespun Style Book Party and Market...

Hello everyone, and a very Happy Easter weekend to you!


It's been a bit quiet here, but we have been super busy behind the scenes preparing for a VERY exciting day in London - Selina Lake's launch event for her new book, Homespun Style...

Selina has curated an amazing event to accompany the launch of her beautiful new book, housed in Hanbury Hall in Spitalfields, some of the best and most exciting designer makers in the UK will be setting up stalls to form a Homespun Style market full of beautiful hand-made designer goodies and prime Vintage finds... to top it off, Selina will be signing copies of her new book and there will be glasses of fizz and buns to nibble on, too!

Ryan and I will be there with a selection of our abigail*ryan homewares, including some of our new Heirloom pieces, and we will be joined by, amongst many others, Catherine Hammerton, Abigail Brown, Emma Lamb and Clare Nicolson... we can't wait to see all the beautiful goodies.

Sounds like a very splendid day to us! The Homespun Market opens are 2pm on Friday the 13th of April (yes, that's THIS Friday coming) and runs until 8pm, so there is plenty of time to come along after work, too...

Sunshine special!

Ooh, it's spring! The sun is out here and the rhododendrons are blooming...so we thought we would offer up our pink tea-towel at just £10 instead of £12.50 while the sun is shining!! Enjoy!

A wonderful Monday!

Ryan and I were in town yesterday, and had something lovely to celebrate, (we will share more on that soon!) so we walked around in the glorious sunshine, had cocktails and lunch at the Fitzwilliam hotel and Ryan got shorn in to a new man ;)
